- Is this tax advice?
- No. Nothing on this site is tax, legal, or financial advice, and none of it is written by a Chartered Professional Accountant. It is educational. Cross-check every figure against the CRA before you act on it.
- Where do the figures come from?
- From the CRA. Every limit, rate, and rule on this site is cited to the canada.ca page it came from, on the page that uses it. The app’s own formulas are checked against those rules before each release. See the certification page.
- What is free and what is paid?
- The TFSA side is free: the calculators and guides on this site, and TFSA tracking in the app. RRSP, FHSA, and RESP tracking unlock together in the app for $19.99 CAD, paid once. The store page has the full comparison and its own FAQ on buying, refunds, and availability. See the store page.
- What happens to what I type in?
- The calculators on this site are stateless and keep nothing. The app stores your figures on your device only, with no account and no login, and it works offline. Site analytics are cookieless. See the privacy page.
- Who builds this?
- One person, in Calgary. I build the app and write every page here, and I am not a Chartered Professional Accountant, which is why that statement stands on every page that touches tax. See the about page.
